The Earth Institute's Center for Environmental Sustainability presents "Scenarios for a Sustainable World" with Cary Krosinsky, Executive Director, Network for Sustainable Financial Markets (NSFM). Climate change, habitat loss, and population growth are dramatically reshaping life on Earth in ways that could result in irreversible changes to our planet, known as tipping points. Learn the causes behind these issues and examine future scenarios that can help us best avoid potential global environmental tipping points.
Green Biz Event: Implementing Green Practices in Your Designs Panel & Happy Hour – Tuesday, February 5th
Are you considering turning your designs and business practices a deeper shade of green? Could branding yourself as “eco-friendly” mean a leg-up on the competition? Join UncommonGoods for How To Make It, a design panel and networking happy hour where design professionals will be sharing their advice on how to source more eco-friendly materials and how to set up a studio or workspace with little environmental impact.. Stay after the panel for free beer from Brooklyn Brewery and a chance to meet other creative professionals. We also want to invite our guests to participate in the discussion by presenting their designs and business ideas to the panel for feedback.
