Miscellaneous Tips

1. Attend the orientation if you can: It’s really useful and a good way to meet other new students.
2. Canvas (aka Courseworks): Class files, updates, and Zoom links are all posted here. However, the instructors and TAs all use it slightly differently.
3. Events: Each department/group/unit has its calendar and event management system. There is no master calendar for all Columbia events. See: Calendar.
4. School jobs & opportunities: These are usually emailed by Mariví Perdomo Caba, Senior Program Manager.
