The Earth Institute presents, “Is Sustainability Sustainable?: A Post-Bloomberg NYC Panel Discussion,”featuring past and present leaders of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability.

With the Mayoral election drawing closer, this panel will explore the progression of PlaNYC:2030, New York City’s sustainability plan, from its inception through today, with a focus on what’s next for the Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability in the post-Bloomberg era.  The discussion will highlight the opportunities and challenges that a changing administration can present for programs that have been championed by Mayor Bloomberg. Taking lessons learned from other cities across the globe, we will discuss how NYC can continue its path of urban sustainability leadership.

A cocktail reception at 7:15pm will follow the formal panel, beginning at 6:00pm.
