The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will host Valentine’s Day tours of the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Digester Egg Tour includes an overview of the wastewater treatment process and tour of the digester eggs. Guests will be treated to unobstructed views of the iconic Manhattan skyline from the observation deck, a glass-enclosed walkway built atop the digester eggs.
