This workshop will cover a range of topics, including: the various goals and benefits of urban agriculture; different business entities a budding urban farmer might consider; the range of physical models – from vertical farms to aquaponics, and of course rooftop farming – and how well they address respective goals and challenges; different enterprises, from flowers to bees to mushrooms, and recommendations on which enterprises and crops make the most sense and are most profitable, and more!
