Sustainability Management Policy Forum: Do Energy Codes Save Energy?

In January 2015 Dr. Arik Levinson, a former senior economist for environmental issues with the Council of Economic Advisors under President Obama, released a controversial study indicating that, in California, energy codes for residential buildings haven’t resulted in energy savings.  The paper’s seemingly counter-intuitive findings were recently highlighted on the Freakonomics Podcast, setting off a heated debate in the energy policy community.  Come join the discussion on April 21st when Dr. Levinson presents his working paper “How Much Energy Do Building Energy Codes Really Save? Evidence from California,” moderated by Luke Falk with Q+A to follow.
