Writing About Global Science for the International Media: Naomi Oreskes

The Harvard science historian and the co-author of “Merchants of Doubt,” will discuss how advertising, marketing and economics have come to dominate public policy debates on such science matters as climate change, ozone depletion, acid rain, and even tobacco use.

A documentary film based on her book is currently in release from SONY Pictures.  Dr. Oreskes is one of more than a dozen female scientists and advocates working on climate change issues who were interviewed by Prof. Dreifus for the May edition of MORE Magazine.
