The GIGs are a new way for Columbia’s graduate students to find others across all of Columbia’s graduate schools who share their passions and who want to collaborate for a better tomorrow. Students can join these groups to share information, ideas, research projects, events, contacts, jobs, etc. with fellow students who are interested in the same areas but aren't necessarily at the same graduate school.

It's finally spring! Please join SUMASA and our friends at the Columbia School of Social Work for a Central Park Picnic event on Saturday, April 20th 2013 from 12pm-4pm. Food and beverages will be provide. All you have to do is show up with your blanket, sport equipment and/or book (reading materials). Let’s get together for a day of fun and relaxation! In conjunction with 350.org, Columbia University will be one of hundreds of venues across the country showing "Do the Math" about the rising movement to change the terrifying math of the climate crisis and fight the fossil fuel industry.
