All Ivy Sustainability and Development Career Fair – March 1, 2013

You are invited to the 10th Annual All Ivy Environmental and Sustainability Development Career Fair — this Friday, March 1, 2013! For the past 9 years, representatives from private companies, public agencies, and nonprofit organizations have attended the fair to discuss careers, internships, graduate and full-time opportunities. The fields traditionally in attendance include sustainability management, environmental policy, environmental science, engineering, city and regional planning, public health and plant and agricultural sciences, to name a few.

Women & Sustainability Speaker – Gwen Kilvert – Wednesday, February 20th

Gwen Kilvert, the Associate Director for Academic Sustainability Initiative at the New School will be joining the Women & Sustainability speaker series for an informal discussion. The Women & Sustainability speaker series, Defining your Career in Sustainability, invites successful female leaders in sustainability to share their experiences and foster creative, innovative thinking and conversation about how they came into their careers. Join us this Wednesday, February 20th at 8pm in 602 Lewisohn.

Earth Institute Student Advisory Council Networking Meeting – Thursday, February 21st

The Earth Institute Student Advisory Council invites you to its first networking meeting on Thursday, February 21st at 7pm in the Auditorium in Earl Hall. This is an opportunity to: Coordinate sustainability efforts and events for Earth Day/Earth Week; voice your suggestions about sustainability at Columbia; and meet other student organizers who are working on sustainable development initiatives!
